The choice is yours

You are a poet and as much as your writing is therapy it is also a pleasure to know it is being read. Keep toying with us.... i\'ll chase your wool

Why you little -
All jokes aside, it was a fun read.
Pets are just friend-slaves.
What do you think about that?

If you have nothing, then make something. Well played.

you\'re a poet so you will always have something to write. love and poetry is in your blood and there isn\'t a lot you can do about that. powerful work also appears to leave its mark, I congratulate you for words written here in this poem.

Talk about a mental desert, but very well written Aa. It takes skill to write a 44 line \"pointless tale\"!

These are the good times
Nicholas Browning said:

This is nice. Very nice. It\'s soft and it\'s sweet, but it has the aftertaste of longing hope that could give the reader a feeling of bittersweet desire. The rhyme scheme is pleasant to say the least. Well done.

What could have been
myself and me said:

In love like in a honey pool, lost love seems drowning in a freezing pond. Nice poem.

What could have been
Louis Gibbs said:

It could, and it can ... unless it isn\'t! Such is the crap-shoot that is love. Well expressed in your poem, AA.

He said \'There is no love.\'
myself and me said:

The big problem of depression is the loss of sense for love. I was horrified by this feeling.
Even the island is flooded by the rain, one day, the Sun will shine on it and it will become oasis.

He said \'There is no love.\'
Nicholas Browning said:

Excuse me, Hi. The names Nick, but you can call me Nicholas if you really feel like it. An island covered with rain, huh? Must suck. Don\'t get me wrong, I\'m empathizing with you. I don\'t like sympathy either. Just wanted to tell you that I enjoyed this, forgive if it seems rude to enjoy poetry about self-loathing, but I get where it\'s coming from. I feel like this myself sometimes. I watch the world go by, doing absolutely nothing, only to be reminded that the one thing I want is the one thing I\'ll never have. I wanted to be loved, to love. To care for, and to be cared for. Tried it out, and this is where it led me. Good to know we\'re companions in this. Love the poetry, keep on writing friend.

Yes, the master say, when you find your self, it is just yourself. You don\'t need to have a relationship with yourself. Just be yourself.
