Unheard songs
dusk arising said:

Your last stanza would stand strong on its own here. Straight from the heart of a poet it connects so well.

The same old love story
Accidental Poet said:

How about reexamining what brought you both together in the first place. Might that spark still be there? Great write Aa. ; )

thanks for sharing
(although I\'m more Sympathetic - for, that poor childless-Greta
than, Inspired-by, her Self sacrificing laudable goals: to be Honest...
her Parents seem so Clueless
in their dereliction of Duty: by ignoring
what\'s best for her Sanity;
\'from my overtly unjust, cowardly opinionated
armchair Commentator\'s, backseat perception...\')

Well that\'s laid it out for everybody. Can\'t thank you enough, Aa.
So forget Nature and \'all will be well\'. It is OK for us old \'uns - it most probably will be during the time we have left. But for the younger members of MPS, Forget your surging hormones, Love unrequited and life inside your own head - turn your focus out, realize relatively speaking you haven\'t got much time left.

if you put your last stanza\'s lyrics, to the Rocky soundtrack
you\'ll have a winner overnight!
\'I definitely feel like a lengthy (5 min) jog, ending with (a few) step climbing, Y fist pumping: (conservative) celebrations\'! wooooot, lol
forgive my silliness, you\'ve penned a fantastic write, dear poet

Justify
L. B. Mek said:

and where exactly do you presume \'you\' will \'remain\' oh \'enlightened sentient\' of all-things warped: dreary, bleak and fear derived to infantile notions from self-justifying coercive fatalism of shared pathological thought\'s...
lol, you\'re so cute, with your hands still outstretched \'after all these years\' screaming, love me, want me, See Me!
we do, we just moved-on from that entitlement fuelled self-indulgent, whingey victim mentality - a long, long time ago,
when we \'blinkered\' few realised: what you will too - someday,
cry all you want, but life operates best when we actualise our own fates!
see there\'s no conveniently \'free\' to answer your call for help, unless you reach-out - willingly and seek that help, waiting on you to value your own self: first,
then we too - can intrust a part of ourselves in your cause...
we live in a shitty world, yup how profound your realisation\'s read, truly how useful all that insight you spew... lol
lol thanks for sharing your entertainingly impassioned writes,
hopefully I matched your strain of vehemence in my pitiful words of this scribbled reply I\'m certain you\'ll detest,
sincere apologies in advance if my take on reality upsets your sensibilities dear Poet, keep that mighty Pen flowing!

\'It’s a pretty world if your mind is blind.\'
how jarring these words read, when I consider they\'re written by someone who chuckles along reading Terry Pratchett\'s floating Turtle perspective\'s of life, lol

Black hole soul
L. B. Mek said:

bleak be that outlook that nurtures that sweet spot between dulled indifference to life and the edges of Abyss to nullified existence...
Seek no warmth if your blood \'chooses\' to run smoother when nurtured by the cold of surrendered hope.
Ignore us naïve fools who peddle all that Toxic Positivity and pity us, somewhat: for we dare not face that morose truth of despair, you have the bravery to walk within.
But, dear brother I beg - may you never forget: even swimming in those deep pools of depression, you remain a child of \'CHOICE\'!
You \'choose\' to be brave and not look away, to hide within normality\'s easy streets of conformity!
You \'choose\' to ink your pain, so that other\'s who feel the same may know: they are not alone!
YOU CHOOSE: so choose, dear brother to Survive and sing that song for the broken hearted
and we feeble few, who dare to meet you - even if only across a bandwidth of binary digits, promise to continue, listening as best we can,
until you\'ve sang your life\'s song, as only You Can, one brave breath at a time...
Have the New Year you want, dear Poet!
stay safe and colour the sky\'s blue with your swear words (it helps - sometimes),
thanks for sharing!

The pubs closed at 10.30pm in the 60\'s.... air pollution was rife. Mind you, the seasons did know how to behave and the old £ s d currency was great. I spanned age eight to eighteen in those sixties and it was great. Mind you i havent had a bad decade since then either.
