You\'re poems carry such weight, Elizabeth. Another sweeping and densely woven piece. There’s an urgency beneath the language that pulses from stanza to stanza...existential, political, and cosmic all at once. Truly, an excellent job, my dear friend. 🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

What a fierce and sprawling piece, Elizabeth. This moves like a manifest...equal parts lament, defiance, and cosmic commentary. The language pulls no punches, which I appreciate, and the questions you end with hit hard. Truly, an excellent job, my dear friend. 🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

A poem of great diversity that ranges from observational beauty through science, ecology, emotions, governance, society, maturation, perception, all with their plus and minus. Woven in rhyme it dazzles the comprehension requiring more than one read by my feeble mind. Nicely done

A very interesting write asking many questions and raising many arguments of how we as a species have and are changing. Observed with needle like precision and factual in statement, many will only be answered in due time, for me there will be no pardon for our species, man will continue to do what it has always, destroy everything it touches including ourselves, until nothing is left, another challenging but enjoyable read

So many interesting lines, each of which could be a topic unto itself. Are we to continue to exist as a species? It seems doubtful but should we many of these need to be resolved. A most thought provoking poem.

Is It All In Vain?
Bella Shepard said:

As science races into the future, is there time to consider unintended consequences? Or does the quest to succeed outweigh the risks to humanity. This is a expose on the culture of science and technology today, written in powerful verse. When the deeds are done, there\'s no going back. Chilling, and oh so true!

Is It All In Vain?

Wow what a powerful and poignant write, first I will be honest it is well written, some off it at first was above my station, I had to look alot of the words up. A detailed account of pharmaceutical industry in which is probably the greediest monster of them all. Admittedly they supply life saving drugs but their vast profits come from drugs that they know cause addiction, misery, pain. The untouchable industry, vast contributers to politicians, back handers etc and wield alot of secretive power, enjoyed the read

Elizabeth, this goes in strong and doesn’t let up. The rhythm pounds, the language is thick, and the ending lands with force. You didn’t hold back...and it shows. 🌹👏 Loved it, my friend. A fave.

A poem with alliteration and good end rhyme it to me speaks of pharmaceutical development with its downfalls and pitfalls. Adverse effects and addiction call out from a greed driven industry that we call progress and scientific advancement. Well written

Contemplations For Joanna
Tristan Robert Lange said:

Elizabeth, this is massive. There’s no other word for it. The architecture of this poem...rhythm, sound, philosophical weight...feels like it was dragged from the fault lines of our time. “Bereft alone defiant and cold am I a mirror of the times?” Yes. That question alone feels like the core of the entire piece. I absolutely love it!

This poem does not blink. It contemplates from the inside out, and it doesn’t offer answers—but it does offer language, and that matters more. I’ll be sitting with this one. Thank you, my friend, for giving us something so deeply considered and beautifully constructed. 🌹👏

P.S. I am so sorry to hear of your health issues. You are in my daily prayers, my friend. Sending positive healing energy your way! As for your apology. Not needed, friend. You are a brilliant poet and I have been finding those notes adding such insight. Very intriguing. Those who don\'t understand won\'t...most of us are just filled with love for you, your beautiful mind, soul, and craft! ❤️

Deeply philosophical, political and polemic it dive deep into numerous topics but what intrigues me most is the rhyme scheme of first and last word rhyme in each line of the stanza. Very nicely done.

The Empirical Veneers of Decency and Acceptance
Tristan Robert Lange said:

Elizabeth, this is a tidal wave of philophical thought and language…layered, relentless, and unflinching. You don’t let the reader drift...you pull us into complexity. That final stanza in particular...wow. You didn’t just write a poem…you offered a mirror, a question, and a challenge. Beautifully done. 🌹👏 I am a fan of your work. A philosopher myself, I am impressed with your thoughts and poems, my dear friend. Keep it up!

A beautiful write written with an honest conscience, the author is clearly very observant as the observations are so accurate. Written with some doubt and a touch irony. A read thats enjoyable and makes you have a proper think, enjoyed

A modern poetic book of Revelations? Scepticism, Irony and disenchantment all in one. Very nicely rhymed and constructed.

Dispensations of Grace
Tristan Robert Lange said:

This gets a fave just for the Baudelaire (one of my faves, of course) alone. Elizabeth, this one floods the page with ambition and delivers. The weight of history, grief, and literary ghosts all swirl together… but you still manage to thread conscience through it. That line…“tacticians of emotional stagnation”…hit especially hard. You held nothing back. Beautifully done. 🌹👏

A nicely crafted write the essence being the world is over populated, it has a tinge of anger and protest at the absurdities of the modern, nicely lined with a touch of sarcastic humour, enjoyed the read
