Here the question between heart and mind is the age old split between logic and emotion, male and female in traditional thought and as has been thought in old myth the perfect god is a hermaphrodite that shares both qualities. One without the other is hard to imagine Even Star Trek\'s Spock had a little feeling. Very nicely written this poem dichotomized into two three line stanzas

This poem reminds me of that because it is exposes how easy it is for a terrible accident, in essence, can wind up getting blown up into something it was not. Scary, but happens all the time. I, myself, have never been one to conform, even when I\'ve had to comply. Not in my nature. I think people avoid that because, from personal experience, not conforming comes at a social and sometimes even a vocational/financial cost. Still, being ME is priceless as I see it. So, I\'ve paid the cost! 🤣 Ultimately you are right, though, if you constantly live life worrying about what others think and conforming to their standards, you really are existing...not living. I choose LIFE over EXISTENCE. Well done, my friend. 🌹👏
