We live in two worlds, the world of human beings and that of animals, funny how we think we are actually different, when in every respect we are the same. Clever, witty, priceless, loved every stanza.

This poem although apparently quite upfront makes great use of language for humor and make points. Apparent errors are not but are purposeful if one looks beyond the surface and take on greater meaning. Loved the Cheaters, Tiger with sugar puffs. It would have been flaky and corny to have put it otherwise. The use of African animals and their threatened extinction is a great cause and made for a fun and colorful read. Very nicely done

I distinctly recall that I used to think along very similar lines, but that was long ago now and long before I found out exactly where the majority of them spend so much of their time trying to make ends meet and just to survive .. So very sadly enjoyed .. Neville

I sometimes think that we have created the perfect conditions for lonliness in our technological world. Where once people gathered as families and communities, it is now easier to self isolate with cell phones and social media where we can often be anonymous. For those who have always dealt with feelings of being different, it is an empty place in which they struggle. Such a topical theme my friend, and one that deserves much attention. Thank you!

Where Do The Lonely People Go

This poem touched me because I see lonely people every week when I go to visit my aunt. She has dementia and many of them do too. So many of them never get a visit and yet have family. Whatβs that all about? And then others confined in their homes without friends or family. This poem took me in many directions and filled me with sadness. Loneliness is a curse. I have never known it and I count my blessings. Have a good weekend Tobani.

See the song \"Where do broken hearts go\" by Whitney Houston. Lonely people have nowhere to go in this wide world. They slug it alone till a lonely death. However, we poets leave our writings behind on sites like this one. Soman Ragavan. 11 January 2025.

You found it indeed a most clever write bringing the reader back to the begining of the poem and answering the question without directly answering it. Very nice.

What would we do without clouds to express ourselves? \"Iβm in desperate need of a blue sunlit sky. As the clouds gently roll on by\" sums it up nicely.
