Devil By Your Side.

Powerful poem, my friend. Truthfully, I have seen this happen in real time, Tobani. The person went to jail for murdering someone who abused them as a child. That person today is a public speaker and helping people like them find help and support in moving past their pain and suffering toward healing and making a positive impact. A powerful and important write. A must fave from me. ๐ค๐ฆโโฌ๐

Well written, Your poem serves to explore the consequences of allowing anger and revenge to dictate one\'s actions and the importance of seeking forgiveness and peace instead. It highlights the universal human experience of dealing with pain and the journey toward healing.

Great write! Revenge is one of those drugs that leaves you feeling temporarily high only to fall into addiction and the ravishes of hate. Nicely written this poem switches off the pairing of devil and angel to provide a good balance nicely crafted

Different style indeed! La. This is a very pretty and provocative number. Fascinating. Intriguingly rendered with rather exquisite imagery and a deeply haunting poignancy, it seems akin to a diamond with so many facets and angles I\'m left pondering. Thank you for sharing.

Always fun to expand one\'s footing and reach in the fertile soil of poetic exploration. I love this, Tobani. This, to me, represents all the developed areas in one\'s life that could use redevelopment. Of course, this poem could be read any number of ways from literal onward. Well done, on this, my friend! ๐น๐

A metaphor of the undeveloped. So it is with life. Many plots of our character or potential talents lay undeveloped because we feel that it may take more effort or time than we are willing or able to devote. They lay undeveloped plots. Nice metaphor my friend

Why, yes, of course! Says me in my dafter moments. Doh! Bonkers things like a story I read of a rich snobbish person who scolded her servant for not dipping strawberries in sugar before feeding them to her pet monkeys! \'As you do\' - a daily occurrence? lol.

Degree is the only difference in any. Fascism meets Communism at the extremes. At times it is normal to be insane and for the insane to be normal and after all who is to define insanity it is merely the degree of difference from the majority. Watching what the majority do I would rather be insane myself. A thought provoking and well written piecer my friend

But of course, my friend. Besides, which democracy is being lamented, eh? As an American, my school years saw me reciting, until it should be ingrained within me, our Pledge of Allegiance. That, crazily enough, is flatly ignored in my adulthood as the idiots howl endlessly over the loss of their supposed democracy. It was never what they tout. But that shan\'t divorce them from such dreams. Benjamin Franklin\'s reply when asked what government the representatives had given the states was, \"a republic, IF you can keep it.\" I shall politely disagree with very nearly every line above... excepting the query\'s assessment: insanity is the latest trend. Beautifully rendered with an excellent poignancy. Thank you for sharing.
