Do you believe they are listening, or is there anyone there anyway? Matters llittle for the purposes of your argument, which is engaging and neat.

If you are a believer it\'s a world which your God created. A well constructed piece which brings home the stupidity of man - a great (but sad) read.

An uplifting poem. At times I feel the need of a heavy dose. Thankfully I chanced upon it today. Loved it

Agreed with our friend, arqios...this has the crescendo of a grand orchestra and leads to life-giving truth. Profound, my friend, and π― true. Well done and what a timely message...both the year it was written and now! πΉπ

Great write and so appropriate in these sad times when the gap between political agendas seems to be coming ever more divisive. .

Heart rending truth and express of that truth. I know the can and I know the abuse. The main difference is the environment it occurred in, I was never in the system and now realise that there is nowhere safe. Thanks for sharing what I still have a bit of a journey to arrive at expressing from my past. Thank you.

I read this twice Tobani, first thing this morning and again now. It was a hard read and it must have been very difficult for you to compose. Sadly this happens all too often and it sickens me that people in authority, trusted with the care of children should behave in this way. It ruins lives. A courageous write.

I have harboured questions and often disdain towards authority figures as they inveriably slip riding high horses. The abuse of position of power seems to be as old as our \"civilization\". Don\'t know why we keep up the pretense

I understand your words though they break my heart. I was raised in the same situation also in the 60;s and 70;s. Those days there was no one to tell and even when you didm they just kept it to themselves, sent you back to the den and never spoke of it again. I;m sorry you experienced this.

Abuse of children is sad and deplorable but more common than anyone would want to believe. The powerless have little recourse but to endure.

An interesting journey. If it is a human one in all very few cases, it is only one sperm that wins the race. It is also an issue of luck as to which fallopian tube they take. Read about evolution as well and survival of the fittest which winds out overtime over luck

Now thatβs the story of my beginnings, a quite unplanned pregnancy on my mumβs part. My dad did the responsible thing and stayed, for a while and 4 children later moved on to more βloveβ-filled relationship. The waypoint out. It makes me realise how amazing that journey was, conception, having partaken but not having any memory of it.
