A powerful and truthful write, mental health is not as easy as just putting people into categories, nicely expressed and written

This poem, my friend, speaks the cold, hard, stark truth. Well done in its form and its message, as well as the comment that bolsters it. 💯🌹👏 Well done! This is an important poem.

This is a very strong poem and the use of repetition is a good tool used to emphasize its importance but it is the power of the comment from the author that gains the fave. In many years of mental health work I have always maintained that too much is lost in categorization of people. We all have bits and pieces of symptoms and statistics or how far one falls from the norm and the arbitrary cut off of standard deviations from the mean taken as qualification for mental illness is too artificial and cold to encompass humanity. A lovely write.

Wow. Powerful, profound, purposeful. This poem hits hard and, I agree with Soren, this is much relevant to far more than those with \"severe\" issues. Well done! 🌹👏

A most wonderful poem in time for Easter. Not sure if it was intended for Easter or not, but it works wonderfully. Well done, regardless. This is a fave. 🌹👏

When we categorize lumping people into groups so as to understand we loose the humanity. When we use statistics to determine normalcy where do we draw the line? When we use a book to determine what pill to give to someone how do we account for individual side effects. Thomas Szasz felt that mental illness is nothing more than dealing with people that we don\'t wish to tolerate and have no laws against. I am rambling but this poem struck a sore spot. Well done a fave

Hello,
The paradoxes within these written lines are mind opening eyes for how humanity has lived as a global species. While some people still believe that originally there was peace the histories show that often man has become war driven. Not for survival but as a status or a way of measurement so to speak. Really enjoyed this piece! Greetings and blessings,
R

Misinformation whether out of self interest or ignorance is still destructive and must be unlearned before new information can be incorporated. Yet such is life. A thought provoking read.

There is a sense of being trapped and held in in this poem. It speaks of lack of control and helplessness. A frustrating feeling is left.
