THE REMINDERS OF WHAT I USED TO BE

A poem with a message that is seldom heard. It is only truly a gift if it is desired by both parties. We often impose our desires and will on others even in gift giving. In that we can\'t read minds asking would seem appropriate but in that people often lie that can not be trusted too so we rely on assumptions that are often based on our own moral and ethical standards.
