of walls and roof\'s, an explosion
removed
from becoming hell on earth, bricks
of empire ruins...
yet, parent\'s smile upon a miracle
as representative of all the hope
they surrendered when entering
adulthood\'s, scam of subservience
fitting-in, in a society, anchored
upon drug and alcohol, concussed
mirage, interpretations
of reality\'s inevitability of cyclical
strife;
while older generations, stare up
at that indifferent universe
and wonder, to what end?
is there really, no better way
if, this be by design
and if
by chaotic chance alone, why
must the dice, land
on one\'s
time n again, when
can we get a win
that\'s not a forsaken precursor
to our ensuing demise?
