This is beautifully mythic, Kurt...airy and elemental, yet weighted with meaning. I love how you let wind become language, breath become destiny. That closing line gives it a kind of sacred finality. More glorious gold Dreamsleep. 🌹👏

So true Kurt a word spoken can not be taken back. An excuse can be made forgiveness asked but never taken back. Well said

There’s a beautiful stillness in this, Kurt—like breathing inside a thought that loops without end. The way you move through paradox and flow feels effortless. Another gem from your Dreamsleep cycle. Grateful to read these, always. 🌹👏

Thanks. I wrote it watching a buffalo and her calf slowly cross the Madison River
in East Yellowstone. They were timeless and free !

This one required reading again and some thought, which is taxing for me. Wisdom again in a few words. As all good poems it can be taken a few ways either positively or negatively and I liked this. Nicely done Kurt

Whoa, Kurt! Talk about a thrilling, wicked ride! This gave me chills—in the best possible way. Your Jezebel leaps right off the page, teeth bared. That ending made me grin devilishly. Darkly delightful and brilliantly spun, as always! 🌹👏

I loved the mixture of images here blending two very different species just as the biblical metaphor of name and character evokes two different images of eroticism and betrayal the horse in this case eats the winner. Clever wording throughout makes this a most wonderful poem

A stirring call to valor here—rooted in that classical sense of honor and self-sacrifice. You carried the form cleanly and the message with conviction. Nicely done, my friend. 🌹👏

Unfortunately true this poem casts doubts on what we vote and fight for. Duped seems the best word I can come up with. Well written it gives much to think about.
