Short and sweet. Beautiful imagery. Sometimes it\'s the little things that bring us the most joy. Thanks for sharing

I like this. There is a quietness to the imagery. It gives me peace. It’s beautiful.

Great job!

Nice internal rhymes like rose buds to my senses; ah yeah \"phase\" and \"face\" - our joy tonight! Why not call it \"Painting Portraits\"? (Because you paint so well with words). Now I can retire for the night with a smile on my face; my heart content.

The first line says it all! Any photo is a reflection of that moment, and that moment only.
Like your poem!

The heart
BRIAN & ANGELA said:

Thanks SARAH ~ for a very beautiful poem ! Yes our hearts have a very important physiological function but (as you have experienced) it is also the seat of emotion ~ It can be thrilled with Positive Loving and it can be hurt and even broken by Negative or unrequited Love ! Fortunately as you say ~ love damaged hearts do heal and new love revives our hearts emotionally. I am you MPS Friend ~ but it is not just academic (mental) it is also emotional. This comment is not from my head only ~ it is also from my heart ! Hugs BRIAN Please check my Poems ~ Thanks B.

Soooooo true. Also I am struck by this continuing theme today. I say that in no disparaging way. See Insecurity by Ambermck6 and I\'m Beautiful by Wolfbane. I believe it is a cultural / media thing, popularizing superficial over real deep beauty within.

Stare
BRIAN & ANGELA said:

WELCOME SARAH ~ Love you picture ~ love your dress. Thanks for sharing you personal feelings ~ both brave and I guess also cathartic. What did you think about the UK Team in the PARALYMPICS ~ people did stare but only in awe and wonder about how well they performed. We have people in our extended Family with disabilities and people do stare. If the do I try to talk to them and introduce Arthur who is blind or Laura who has cerebral palsy or Vicky who is Downs etc. I find when they speak to and with a Disabled Person it makes them more empathetic and they smile instead of staring ! Thanks for sharing ~ Yours BRIAN
