Summer Love

We don\'t have summer camps here in the UK, or if we do. I\'ve never heard of where they are held and was never sent to one .. (unfortunately) but I do know what you mean by them .. Having said that, my guess is that many Brits envy the concept and freedoms they afford .. and furthermore, I reckon you have poemed a little masterpiece here and very skilfully captured the temporary heat and fleeting passions of all too often experienced holiday romances .. Ah summer camp, this made me chuckle dear Phil, a.love story, in the UK we don\'t have Summer camp but I know it\'s a very special moment for teens in America, I think your poem brings great dignity to both sides and yes a passionate love story is what this is. I do believe most memorable too. 🌹

I\'m sorry to have to say most times I believe it is too late. Everything is about money. The big companies are not going to stop making the plastic that is suffocating the world.

Doggerel Dave said:

Steam well blown, Phil.
Trouble is, I feel Humanity reached the point of no return (tipping point?) some many years back. Results just coming through for all, rather than a limited audience, to see.

A rich colourful parade and yarn, Phil. Enjoyed.

You were potentially at the wrong place, but definitely at the right time, Phil.

BTW Never heard \"downright ransom-like\" as a description of the competitive qualities of crowds before. Sums them up perfectly.
