I am a PHYSIOTHERAPIST so my job is to keep all my CLIENTS

Mobile & Supple. This is achieved through daily exercise ! After

surgery each CLIENT is given a series of appropriate EXERCISES

some of them quite strenuous which is why we are often called

PHYSIOTERRORISTS !  We also proscribe Walking : Cycling and

Swimming. Aquatherapy (Leap for Life) is also available on the

NHS (reduced fee) in the UK.  I like working in NEW ZEALAND

because they are very fit and Health Conscious. OBESIETY is

an increasing problem in the UK. So its not only SALT intake

we have to control : but also Carbs & Saturated Fats ! We have 

to EAT to LIVE : consequently we have to EXERCISE in order

to STAY ALIVE & LIVELY !  Are you getting ENOUGH ? If youve

never tried AQUATHERAPY : You havent lived ! Watch Video !

    I do exercise every day to a DVD - gets me out of breath and I'd feel quite silly if anyone saw me prancing about but the benefits are worth the trouble and discipline. Fine advice Angela.

      HI UNCLE MIKE ~ Its WEDNESDAY here and Ive just woken up to check MPS ! Thanks for your comment : You always look very TRIM ! We all look SILLY exercising : but we would look much sillier if we didnt. I always encourage my older clients (60+) to have an exercise regime after their time with me has expired. Many find an exercise bicycle (can be as cheap as £25 second hand) preferable to road cycling. Swimming is excellent and admission prices in the UK are less than a portion of Fish Chips & Mushy Peas ! I hope you also encourage your Peer Group to exercise ? Love your enthusiasm for Life : ANGELA 🧡🧡

        Funnily enough fish and chips don't taste anywhere near as good as they did when we were young - or is it just our imagination or do taste buds change as we get older - or both?

          Thanks UNCLE MIKE ~ I was born in 1988 and because Mi Padre es Espanol : We ate mainly Spanish Cuisine even though we lived in the UK ! I did have \"Chippy\" Battered Fish & Chips in the 1990\'s and the batter has become crisper and the ratio of Batter to Fish is higher. A consequence of this is that the organoleptic (eating) quality of the actual fish has deteriorated in the 20th C !. Brian & I both enjoy F & C but when we order FISH in a Restaurant we generally order Poached : Breaded : In a sauce : Fish Cake or Pie rather than battered ! Our fave is salmon which has retained its flavour : especially a whole boiled & DRESSED SALMON at a buffet : perfect ! Brian and I are both Nutritionists so we tend to be perceptive (not critical) diners ! Auckland of course is a great City for Fish ! Love ANGELA 🧡🧡

              Ohh it's terrible! I have to take Fido for walkies. he barks at anything 'swoony' or 'hot', or any such people he sees. heehee. Too long sitting on one's botty can give cramp!

                Many thanks FAY : Love your comments they are always encouraging. Yes in the UK people are walking less and if it drizzles they refuse to \"walk in the rain\" ! The weather in NZ (N Island) is more subtropical so the KIWIS & MAORIS are more active in the Winter : Hiking : Cycling : Sailing etc ! Most KIWIS are very fit and not obese ~ Older Maoris do tend to be a little obese like all Polynesians. My clients at the hospital all carry out their exercise regime faithfully : after surgery. I like to be an ENCOURAGER as does BRIAN.

                WELL DONE ANGEL ~ Great Poem ~ Pic & Video ! A Balanced Diet and an exercise routine make You & I ~ what we are ~ Healthy & Good Role Models ~ Me for my Students and You for your Clients ! Ive seen many OBESE Lecturers ~ but never an OBESE Physio ! YES ~ I am using my BIKE and doing all those exercises you gave me (SOMETIMES !) remember ~ Im just a MAN !                   Thanks for your comment BIG BEAR ! I hope you are cycling & swimming etc and joining in the AQUATHERAPY CLASSES at College and being a Model for the Massage Students. Sorry I am not there to keep you supple but the Students do need an older Man to practice on (BROMA !). The KIWIS & MAORIS are excellent Clients and all carry out their exercises as I can tell from their physical improvement. We have an aquatherapy pool at the Hospital and the Seniors find they have increased mobility in the pool ! Exercise is essential for Seniors to maintain Quality of Life and I know you are involved in the Seniors Club (60+) at the College : encouraging Healthy Eating Exercise & Socialising ! Miss you lots : Abrazos y Besos : Todo de Mi Amor : Your ANGEL 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

                  I used to go walking by My River almost every day but since I now need to be with Joyce practically all the time that has become impossible. I do have an exercise bike but it is just gathering dust in the garage, it is so boring when I know that walking with nature can be so wonderful.
