Walking In The Store.

Goldfinch60

I was walking in the store,

My missus by my side.

She was looking at clothes,

I was looking disinterested.

When all at once I saw him,

This man some yards away.

There is a good looking young man,

I thought.

We approached each other,

And with each step he changed.

He got older,

And wider.

And all at once I crashed into the mirror.

I really must go to Specsavers!

Happens to me most mornings - usually before I'm dressed - must stop the wine - my belly is getting worse.

    • Goldfinch60

That belly has cost a lot of money Michael as mine has. LOL

There's always a few inches and tens of pounds between our self-image and the mirror's truth. It happens all the time. I chuckled with this one. - Phil A.
