ADVERSARY RHYMES (2 3 & 4)
Bert the Hairy quite contrary
Why does your red nose glow
With silvery drips that run to your lips
At the sight of wee maids in a row?
Round and round the bedroom
Catch me if you dare
One step
Two steps
The bed is over there
A sailor went to sea, sea, sea
To see how far he could pee, pee, pee
But he totally failed to forsee, see, see
The winds that blow across the sea sea sea.

Good fun writes Michael.
Oh lol, fine writes Michael. Stand clear of that sailor!
It would bring tears to your eyes.
Now that sailor needs a shower. Nice Michael.
I think he may have already had one AP
That middle rhyme had me in stitches Michael - another clever slant on the original nursery rhymes - I love your sense of humour - - and another adorable picture to add to the pleasure of visiting your page.
Puts me in mind of a comedian way back whose catch phrase was ' Ooh chase me' - now who was that?
Super super. ...superb!!
Thanks - you are a gent.
Number two, hands down! An adult nursery rhyme ... love it, Michael!
Don't you wish you were there = Thanks Louis.
Thanks MICHAEL ~ I'm back from GERMANY after 4 years in STALAG LUFT 3 ~ We built a plane to escape but with 54 passengers we didn't get lift off ! The Komandant gave us all Gluwein und Bratwurst for trying ! Love you odes ~ Nursery Rhymes are always good fodder for a parody ! Love your painting ~ My poem is about 'OUSES today ~ please check ~ Thanks BRIAN
Welcome back Brian - yes I love nursery rhymes for that reason
Well done (again) Michael! If I had to choose one of the three, it would probably be number two!
Was it ever like this? Thanks Fred
Sure, in the good old days. Now I can do it for about 30 seconds, then I am out of breath!
See the couple in this paint again.
Ha, Ha, Ha, I love the poem, so funny.
They get everywhere - they're looking for the bed.
