I MAY still be ALIVE at the end of this
Century ~ so I am concerned about
Life on Earth in two thousand one hundred (2100)
Population could be fifteen billion
Global temperature rise ~ Five Celcius
Average sea level rise of two metres
Deforestation ~ Urbanisation
Carbon dioxide levels will rise from
Four hundred - eight hundred parts per million
Makes Planet Earth much less habitable !
Plans to colonise MARS are Space Fiction
MOON - VENUS Madness ~ Nowhere else to go !
Hawaii ~ inner space ~ overheating
We must sustain Planet Earth or PERISH !

I'm just presenting a Conservative estimate of the facts !
The effects of Global warming ~ such as the melting of the
icecaps and sea level rise are irreversible ~ so it is already
TOO LATE ! Most of you will not be around in 2100 (I'll be
117 !) but your Children and Grandchildren will ! What sort
of PLANET are you leaving for them ? Be Clean ~ Think Green !

Very true Brian, those in power our planet have no visualisation of what they are doing to our planet they are in it just for their on gratification. I will not be around in body but I WILL be watching down in My Spirit - good luck to you all.
I understand. maybe it's not so rare that people can be Christians and scientists, as you are. I may be there too. I shall be 11 million years old by then - 10 million at present. And you will be 117 of course.
But it's a serious thing. Some thoughtlessly say 'So what, I'm all right in my day; I won't be here for the future generation'.
THANKS STEVE ~ Many people ~ as you say ~ do take a selfish view ! If I had Children or Grandchildren I would be even more concerned. I find no clash between the TRUTH of Science and my Christian ! I just don't like the way in which the MYTH of Evolution is taught in Schools and promote on TV etc ! Yours BRIAN
I'm with you Brian. Apes, monkeys, primates are intelligent, we're not evolved from them. Human beings are a separate species. Some may believe in evolution cos Darwin looks like an ape!
Such a cheery thought but so so worrying - let us hope that some common sense prevails to save as much as we can - I really feel for my grandchildren and for their children in turn.
That was my point exactly it is the future generations we should be concerned about ! We've never had it so good but since the 1950's the developed Nations have been very profligate with the Earth's resources and the Earth itself ! This has already produced a bad legacy for 2050 (Point of no retiurn ?) when I should certainly still be around (67 !) with your Children & Grandchildren etc ! Yours BRIAN

A great question you’ve posed about PLANET EARTH 2100? We should all be concerned about the future! It doesn’t matter if some of us won’t be here...we’re not 35 yrs. old as yourself...we need to think about and do for the future generations! We’ll be watching from wherever we are saying, “I told you to take good care of your planet!”
Let’s do our share for the children (including our own), the grandchildren, great grandchildren, etc.

The prospects for 2100 are a bit bleak ~ too many people ~ too little arable land (think about !} and there really is nowhere else to GO ! Since 1950 the Developed World (Europe ~ USA etc) has been very wasteful & greedy we really need to change drastically or perish ! People just want to do whats in the present and let the other people in the future handle like the economy or in this case the environment or the planet. Hopefully we start thinking of the future soon. but other then that great poem
