Your poem took back to when I was 26 and pregnant if my first son living in Australia without family and my boyfriend was week and could not support me. I had to be very strong to keep my baby. But everything turned ok and my son is now 32 and has a daughter at age 3. I\'m so happy to have them. Be strong because we can be strong when we need but it is no problem to cry in front of your kids. They are going to see you as human. Wishing you luck with your family.

I think you say it all and with such clarity and obvious motherly love. Ive been involved in this subject from various angles and seen some horrors. I think your piece is well written and thoughtful. You tell a story leading to your conclusion. Good construct.

Scars don\'t disappear. They simply fade. Time doesn\'t heal all of the wounds that we have, but it can lessen the burden. I know it\'s not easy to forget, but remember, you need to be there for your daughter. Best of luck, and thanks for sharing.
