Monster Born By Night

\'woosah\', take it slow dear poet
life still has a lot to throw your way, I fear
just take a glimpse of those history pages..
still, personally: I found this a delightfully poetic read
one thing is for sure, your write showcases unquestionable talent
thanks for choosing to share..
\'keep that keyboard dancing and enjoy the ride
remember to grip ambition\'s reins - loosely
before it skins your innate whimsy: bloody...\'

If that monster has now emerged from within you let it go and continue with your better life.

If sadness has that reaction I hate to think what any stronger emotion would do to you....
And what do you learn in your history class?
Apart from those reservations I found it an interesting but terrifying read.

Humpty-Dumpty
ANGELA & BRIAN said:
Good Afternoon SUGIURA ~ Thanks for your sad Poem ! My advice is \"Always stay away from the Edge\". Humpty Dumpty was a Seige Gun on the walls of the City. The soldiers pushed him too close to the edge and he fell off and BROKE irreparably ! It has happened to Friends of Mine who let Circumstances of Life etc push them too close to the edge (of Breakdown) and like Humpty they fell off & died. Some acctually jumped off Bridges & Tall Buildings ! Im 35 (Single) and have been close to the edge several times for a variety of reasons. I am a Christian so I haven\'t resorted to Drugs & Alcohol etc to ease the Pain but have sought help from People who Councelled & prayed with me and gently brought me back from the EDGE ~ AMEN How do you cope and move away from the edge ? Yours BRIAN Please check our site ANGELA is my FIANCEE

Time\'s Truths
HangingbyaHalo said:
Great read.
Consider time wisely and use it accordingly.
Could you imagine knowing how much time you had? How differently people would live?
We take it for granted as if all we have is time. Yet no one is promised tomorrow.
This piece is thought provoking.

SA, I like the structure of your poem. It is short, but to the point, a kind of minimalism, but it tells the whole story. Very well written!

Nicholas Browning said:
We don\'t really think about the effect that our words will have on other people when we say them. When I was still in school 4 years ago, it was similar. You brought up a valid point, and I commend you for doing so. Also, is \"piers\" supposed to be \"peers\" in the last line?
