Comes a Caller

It hurts to be alone.
This is so sad. Our only hope is that he lived a good life!
Truth be told as you said,
ā€œDeath comes when comes
Death comes to us allā€!

Chills down my back, ā€œI am the snow on ice-capped mountainsā€ very well written, simple yet in awe of the depth of the words and the underlying meaning on the page!

Crestfallen Forlorn Maker Man
LaurašŸŒ» said:

This is an unbelievable dark and haunting piece of writing. The carnage...the pain...the abuse...the wretched souls...
The language reminds me of some of Dante Alighieriā€™s writings. The illustration is right out of his Inferno or Purgatorio! Heā€™s one of my favorite writers.
Who is your inspiration...your muse?
Looking forward to more of your writings!

Some read with such supreme use of the language but demands a reread - will come back to it again later.

This was a fantastic read! Rich with history! This brilliant write would be a great screenplay for a movie and/or a tv series!
Kudos to you!

Many of us have been touched by this - with me it was my father. So well expressed.

This is so relatable! My uncle, a brilliant man...a civil engineer and architect to be exact...was reduced to the condition youā€™ve described in your poem.
ā€œFrom my mind, my memories have been shorn...ā€ says it all for my uncle...Alzheimerā€™s took him over!!

This is a buffet of imagery. The repetitions are haunting, nearly musical. HC, is this piece grounded in any actual history?
