I really connected to this poem, the current lockdown situations can definitely make us feel these emotions. But there is always light at the end of the tunnel. A great expression x

Tiredness
L. B. Mek said:

sharing your truth\'s is a brutal journey, dear fellow scribbler
see, when others read your words, we do so through our own distorted prism\'s, replying with commentary that alienates you from the very words you penned...
so firstly and most importantly: write for yourself!
if you deem it worthy, then let that be enough for you...
the instance you allow other\'s to value your worth, will be the moment those vultures will rise to swallow your confidence - whole, why?
cause that is how they sustain that warped delusion of self-indulgently morose, judgemental perspectives of life, to demean other\'s worth with...
yes, by all means heed advise that is aimed at aiding your growth, but never let other\'s opinions discourage you from writing your truth\'s!
I found your write an interesting read, admittedly it lacks a secondary point of view or rather a more rounded look at your situation, but no journey starts at the end, so I appreciate you must first begin by writing what you see, maybe later as you reflect and revise, you may see an alternative perspective that can help guide a more positive outlook on your situation, all in all it was a good read, keep writing and sharing, we are here and all traversing that same journey on the rivers of ink, my literary minded friend...

An ode to the arts

our ability to express thought\'s and feelings is an essential element for maintaining our sanity in this crazy world, it seems you\'ve found your preferred avenues for self-expression, which is half the battle I think,
thanks for sharing, look forward to reading your work

I can understand your feelings but there is goodness out there in these sad times, just keep looking and you will be surprised at what is there for you.

Please please give feedback, I haven’t written for months and months until yesterday and now suddenly the words have come flooding back and are flowing out into what I think are random streams that I dare to hope might be thought of as poetry

Nothing wrong with being a dyslexic poet. Dyslexic or not, you have the gift of words. Command them as you will.

Strawberries
dusk arising said:

Lately the early strawberries here in UK come from a place where they manage to grow lovely looking fruit but completely devoid of the lovely strawberry sweetness.
Come to think of it, many ladies i have met are of the same ilk.

Sad. But if this is a reflection of whats happening in your life, then writing it down is a great way of giving it finality.

Oh i totally agree. Like a drug of self exploration.... vivid pictures and sensations waiting for you to find the words to colour a readers mind. Whilst lifting many of the tensions and frustrations we ourselves are burdened with.

A very enjoyable read.
