How I want to spend Christmas
Cheeky Missy said:

It is interesting since you began the piece with such an image that your poem follows as if contradicting it. Ya, and what do you think of Swami Vivekananda's teachings? I think he was instrumental in bringing Hinduism to the "West" and into modern "Christianity," perverting the gospel. I thought of this seeing you here honor a "Jesus" without realizing that God's salvation, while supposedly promoting such virtues, does not really yet is so inescapably necessary, since we are all condemned to perish for our sins, and without His sacrifice and saving us, these virtues are naught. I liked this piece and hope my comment is not offensive, dear elder brother. (Besides so far as I can see, the Word of God condemns Christmas as a heathen UNgodly Unacceptable holiday anyway....in fact, having thus said, I confess it is abominable to me to even connect the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible at all with the holiday of Christmas and your initial stanza condemning celebrating it with debauchery is actually the fitting way to celebrate it...it is not at all anything other than a devilish holiday, that I know of.)

THE HISTORIC CROSS
Cheeky Missy said:

Well, my dear Hindu elder brother, it is a very nice piece. But it misses the fact that since indeed He IS God Almighty He did not want nor have a pious soul, at least according to what I understand from His Bible. He says "...My counsel shall stand and I will do all My pleasure....I have spoken, I will also do it....I have purposed, I will also bring it to pass..." that is, if I am not being too bold to contradict you.

Hi, I believe that you are refering to the "progress" on nations and technology that just seems to trap and plague everyone to have it but at the same time is lowering our humanity as technology lacks of time and emotions, people shouldn't either; so is eating us up.
It's good puzzle and it's intriguing, also this is just my opinion I may be wrong about this, but that idea came into my mind.
I don't like the picture, but well is a funny perspective on the Movie Austin Powers.
I hope that you have a good week
Best

CHILD IS GREATER THAN MAN
Cheeky Missy said:

Alas, the cruelty of "reality" destroyed the ignorant sweetness of youth? Say, rather that it is a tempting thought, but not that the heart has been impossibly hardened,....please? I mean, in a very real sense, while the child might seem greater than the man for his ignorance and initial sweetness, it is horrifying to me anymore to see how cruel and hardened even little children are, and la, how rebellious we are even as tots. It seems then, only an illusion that the child was greater than the man he became. We were ignorant but no less evil, weren't we? I enjoyed the picture.

THE CUCKOO AND THE SPRING
Cheeky Missy said:

Wow. It is very interesting....I enjoyed it. Sorry that he would not have his doting sweetheart, thankful she did not live unappreciated......Rereading it, was her king the spring itself? If so, did she live in a perpetual winter thereafter? You've written a fascinating mystery to consider....for it all seems to allude to something deeper.

Wow. Excellent! Make me tremble in my boots. I loved your comparisons.....since I know your last stanza is correct, I doubt not the first too. Though the interesting thing is, don't they use camphor against mosquitoes? I like this poem very well!!

These line impressed a lot. And the way you have described Goddess Durga is fantabulous.

MASTER AND THE POST MASTER
Cheeky Missy said:

If I may be so bold, I disagree...at least with the god you expressed. The only true God of the Bible, Jehovah, "teaches sinners in the Way..." and is by no means a disinterested instructor...when we hear His urgent call so often, as in Proverbs 1, and etc. Your poem is an interesting perspective to consider. I enjoyed it.

WHAT IS THIS LIFE EVEN ON CHRISTMAS?
Cheeky Missy said:

It is very interesting.....Christmas is fundamentally unBiblical and therefore a heathen holiday. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God. ...To what are you referring when you talk of jealousy and a double-edged knife?

WHO OWNS THE LAND?
Cheeky Missy said:

If I may be so bold as to say so.....the only true God of the Bible says that the earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein.....Ps 50:12 "If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof."
I'm glad both live peaceably together despite worshipping different gods.
