1952 - C.J. Reflects
dusk arising said:

One thing about being born in 52 was that in 63, at the impressionable age of eleven, my TV eyes fell upon the civil rights movement and the terrible injustices of racism. From thereon I questioned the reasoning behind the day to day racism I encountered not least in my own family.
Your writing is refreshingly easy on the eye and speaks of a time and attitudes it would be nice to think have changed but as newsreels repeat the same messages of sixty years ago the words of a well known song come to mind \"it\'s been a long, a long time comin but I know a change gon come\".

The Encounter
RL Randall said:

I like the way this piece gets inside the thinking of a watchdog. The dog\'s thinking is different from its training, instead thinks about what it wants. A very nice piece.

This is for our Memorial Day. A bit too emotional about Texas and Buffalo to pen a poem just some notes as yet.
