A poetic statement which hits where it hurts - what a sad old world when friends are tanked down - - you nailed it well in these few lines Jerry.

Cor Jerry, you\'re right on the ball today sir! It\'s not looking good around ukraine. Here in UK most of the covid restrictions are being lifted, we\'ve done very well with the jabs here but there are still a hardcore minority who refuse to be jabbed.

When will this thing go from our world we lost so many in this and I am feeling more emotional after reading this poem. I just loved the words of this poem. Today I have also written something if a good poet like you checks out I will be blessed.....Just loved your work.

That choice is always with us and it just depends on how we feel when the pen first lands on the paper.

I don\'t know the right answer. I guess write about anything that makes the mind bulb suddenly light up, a phrase, a glance, a scent ....

It\'s better to write, just write.... you\'ll find you write about both and more.... but I\'m sure you already know this.

\'this be that, Duality
of Choice
to seek or to hold
to venture or protect

this be that, Need
for certainties
that stifle, and squander
these gifted blinks, of life...\'
(always a wonderful surprise
when I catch
one of your poetically succinct, treats
that never fail
to inspire my humble scribbles, my friend
hope the New Year
is treating you well, so far)
thanks for sharing, dear cherished Poet!

LOL what\'s the opposite to \'good in bed\'.... \'bad in bed\' does that mean you misbehaved and soiled the sheets or something?

What did the snowman say to the next snowman? \"Can you smell carrots?\"

Yep a serious load of snow will put the cat among the pigeons this year with all the transport shortages we already have together with covid absenteeism. More bare shelves and shortages of materials.

Three lines that say it all Jerry - -and leaving the clever imagery to view reality so many dull fogs in winter cover the glory of moonlight. Good read.
