Battle of time
Paul Bell said:

The million-dollar question, what will tomorrow bring. This is how I work on the theory, if I wake up tomorrow it\'s a great day, if I don\'t, then It\'s somebody else\'s problem.

what is love?
L. B. Mek said:

(thanks for sharing, dear poet
please forgive me
for my opinionated rant, below
it\'s just that some peoples
\'hypocritical utilisation\'
of the word \'Love\'
triggers me..
but your message, I champion
completely!)
for me, personally
\'Love\'
is not just a word
it\'s taking
proactive accountability
for our feelings and emotions
and accepting, that we\'re - All
entitled
to \'Love\' - Freely!
as long as we\'re not hurting, anyone..
in short it\'s accepting, that Love includes
Women, Men and \'Non Binary, or other\'
it\'s, accepting
religious Dogma\'s, with constricting
and archaic \'opinions\'
on Love
can be held, directly responsible
for fanatic bombings
of Gay and Lesbian nightclubs...
don\'t just
use the word \'Love\'
and then \'Qualify\', who is entitled to it
that\'s just, the height
of obstinate, self denial..
and that insidious root core
of theological corporations
hate fuelling, poisonous
herd, mindsets!

Oh my freedom
L. B. Mek said:

\'Life without you freedom has become hard
We have been muzzled like dogs
Were we can not utter anything
Or raise objections to something that gets our eyebrows high
We now been considered dangerous
The thugs of the country
The terrorists of the society\'..
yeah, I so relate
we the muzzled criminals
whilst, they
fly around the world, virus free
imagine
a virus, that sides with the privileged
sounds a little, manmade...

Yes! I feel life and privilege go hand in hand. If you\'re born into wealth and prosperity or if you\'re born into poverty, all add up to the way you view life. 💖 Good poem!

Life Life Life

(such an enlightening read
and thanks for inspiring
my little scribbled rant
of a reply to your last lines)
\'so true, the well educated elite
word or paint or act-out
the words, brush strokes and scenes
that depict
the suffering of the lowly, majority
how utterly obscene..
well then, mercy be
that\'s all in the past, now we\'re
all attending Uni\'s and getting
that good, good - Degree
just a shame, we ain\'t got time
to write, paint or script
our own generation\'s Voice, since
we\'re now
using our well educated status
to pay back our Uni, debts...\'
(reality, oft resembles
a bad scripted attempt
at a morose humoured, tale
of pseudo existence...)

Very fine write Cedric, I never could understand racism and why it is amongst this human breed, to me all are equal and should be treated with respect.

rosiedm said:

I agree ..what is racism .. does anyone really know..
Not liking someone because of a darker skin. That\'s crazy to me in.pale I\'m from.Ireland
I\'d love an olive skin instead of using fake tan
Why do people lie on beaches till they are burnt to achieve a darker shade
So to not like some one because of a skin shade doesn\'t make any sense
Does it become racism then because of not understanding their language
That\'s narrow mindedness and showing how uncultured they are of not wanting to like people because\" they\" don\'t speak their language or accept a different upbringing
And those people are usually untravelled and stuck in the same corner all their lives
