Very sad emotive words Keith. The pain of causing harm to the natural world would live with me as well.

The pain of causing any harm to a creature of indescribable beauty must lodge in the memory and my heart goes out to you Keith for no matter how long ago to look into the eyes of such suffering is never forgotten as your poetic lines show. Sad but so touchingly composed.

A well written piece about a sickening situation. I know how you feel, I have had similar with two badgers and one VERY close miss with a deer. It really is a sickening feeling and makes you feel hate and despising for what we have become, so far removed from ouyr beautiful wildlife.
Well done.

A once in a lifetime experience and you pen the occasion so memorably Keith - -- I shall remember that beautiful duo dancing and she without sight will be in my mind for always now. Thanking you so much for sharing that magical moment with us.

So many now having to go through waste bins to see what can be salvaged. This is so sad and is becoming worse. Thank you for this reminder.

Sing on, Sting

love the flow
one long stream of a poetic hymn
and simultaneously
a poignant portrait of life\'s, strife
its good
to have things we believe-in
while being accepting
of that diversity, in all-things
that brings out
the best, in all of us...
thanks for sharing, dear poet

Thanks Keith for sharing what once was a lady and for touching the core of such problems for those on the streets - you penned the scene so clearly with apt singing by Sting in the back ground that I felt the tragedy of cities all over rank with those who just haven\'t made it and seek invisibility - - assuredly that one poor lost female soul now exists for your listening readers due to regretful attention from a poet\'s saddened but caring heart.

The gentle flow in this nature poem draws such a picture that I felt I was there with you and the crow in that lonely valley - but I never gave a whisper to disturb your bathing in its serenity. A dreamy read Keith.
