I love the message in this poem. It is well written with good sound logic. One cannot legislate freedom for it is a contradiction in terms. Very nicely done.

Yet only letting our fellows here know leaves the misimpression we\'re fundamentally miserable. Perhaps we are?! I\'ve learned that when I\'m most deeply pressed either with joy or grief, I cannot put it into my work. These are only shadows of what is. Beautifully expressive. Thank you for sharing.

I liked this poem. At first it reminded me of a poem I had written some time ago but it evolved into your own story and a great message. I loved the rhyme scheme and some internal rhyme as well as the flow.
