A case study of a poet\'s passage through a poetry site on the web. But who? I\'m certainly not owning up!!!🙂
A well thought through piece for me, Iva

Free But in Chains
Doggerel Dave said:

Your slavery, conformity does allow the possibility to blame others for unfortunate circumstances, Iva and far too many take that option.
There are however some few who are overwhelmed by their circumstances and really had no choice in the matter.
Your piece does give cause for thought , and I\'m by no means sure I\'ve completely sorted this out.

Hits harder than my first impression of the circumstance described and the best thing is I also salute any independent thought such as you describe. Nice

Wow, love it. It reminds me of fall. Gathering all of those happy and lively memories before the cold dead winter. Beautiful.

Disturbance of Equilibrium

Thanks Iva for a heads up on a situation which is only at its opening phase. What place AI will assume, along with search engines such as Google I have no idea. Good to be wary at this stage I think….
Financial gain? They will change that soon I bet…
Usual quality poetry – More on the way..?

Muslin or Silk
Iva Hotko said:

Dave, from where do you take all this words for describing ones poem, in this case mine? I read it three times and I still don\'t know what you are saying. It may well be that I\'m too tired and words ( especially English) aren\'t coming through to my brain.
Anyway, thank you for taking the time to read and comment on this poem 🤍🦋

Muslin or Silk

Iva, the rich poetic examination of a relationship or encounter not quite authentic contrasts with the second half of your commentary which becomes almost manifesto like.
I can only support ‘pain is not love, not in any tongue.’

Dark Side Of Hope
Doggerel Dave said:

Fully endorsed re hope. Hope and prayer expressed become the justification for inaction, as if enough to verse something and forget…..!
Apologies for rushing off, Iva – I have at least another of your posts to answer.... And this piece stands by itself with its very own justification.

(Reposted slightly reworked).

Mirror, Mirror On The Wall
Doggerel Dave said:

Elusive is my inner voice – occasionally I think I’ve cut through, found a path out of the ‘weeds, trees, and caves’. To what? You term it a dead end, but are there any that are not? How do I know that the most recent revelation isn’t as dead as all the others?
As usual, I’ve spent more time with your poem than most of the rest put together. IF it’s possible to have a GOOD tension headache, then I’ve got one…… 🥲

I find that all the untought lessons are the ones we truly must learn in order to live and not just exist to let life pass us by.
More often than not, the more alien our inner voice sounds, the more sincere it is.
And every struggle we go through makes every victory that much more satisfying.
I know it\'s nothing close to romanticising life\'s struggles, but those struggles do seem more romantic on this page, compared to how \'normal\' people would picture them.

Lullaby Of Sin
Doggerel Dave said:

The ephemeral stuff which result from my personal circumstances mean all or nothing when underneath or even overall I have freewill.. Got it, I hope, but tell me I’m all wrong if you wish and we can start from there…
Wrapped in your words and enjoyed the picture, as usual.

Sturdy definition, Iva. Everyone\'s reaction in such a situation is different..... Hope for me didn\'t enter the equation - the dynamic was self talk and the effort required to push through.
