Must keep (fave) this one for future reference. My occasional campaign against the concept ‘Love’ and the plethora of poetry which buries it, finds a boost here – although I feel I must re-read several of your propositions to fully extract their message.
I even found your commentary worth the effort (not normally fond of long commentary – feel the meaning should be in the poem or not at all) but here you gave the subject real depth.
Many thanks for this one.

I liked it but I’ll offer a one view that may be easily set aside. I just think it’s too long there was a heightened tension achieved about thirty lines before the end and it was one choice to close. It stayed tight but maybe it didn’t get stronger which I believe is often a desired style. You can write. Reminds of a miles Davis , John Coltrane talk when miles asked Trane why his solos were so long with Trane saying he just don’t know how to quit. Miles, cantankerously said, “you just pull the fucking horn away from your lips”! Comparing to Coltrane is highest prop I got.

This speaks with a genuine feeling of love, respecting not only the adoration of another and their importance, but more so celebrating the simplistic beauty of the earthly completed love, that not too many are lucky enough to ever find. Beautifully written!!
