Silence can be so uncomfortable and on other occasions so comfortable. It all depends on whom one is with. A lovely poem

Teddy you have outdone yourself in this write. Yes you are here in this poem. Some brilliant work in this. No single line stands out but as a whole this poem reeks with power and with the essence of poetry. It stands like a rock in the waves of a storm. No sugar and spice and everything nice but the icing is taken off to reveal an iceberg. One of your best. A definite fave

Superb. Methinks the secret is either unexposed or else still esoteric. I guess I learned it in the process of writing. Let me know if you want me to tell you. Beautifully rendered with excellent imagery and a delightful poignancy. Thank you for sharing. I love it!

Dark predictions that seem to be taking shape. A sad side to the technological wonder we have produced. I guess Ted Kaczynski had it right and we finished him.

The painful and sad demise of the human race is all here in this write, and it\'s inability to communicate on a human level anymore as technology is now the master. Ignorant the future has arrived and created the beginning of the end, a wonderful write, very enjoyable

Dear, dear me! The zombie apocalypse is in full swing on every side, nor is it pretty either. This is a very pretty number portraying the painful reality. Superbly rendered with excellent imagery and a haunting poignancy, thank you for sharing.

We will never die
sorenbarrett said:
So metaphoric this poem strikes close to home I love the line (the lie stings even my own tongue ) a fave the message I take to be that one can take another\'s pain on through a lie and suffer it oneself. A most noble concept that many may debate the ethics of but seems most giving in intent.

La, how gorgeously rendered with superb imagery and an exquisite poignancy, tendering a most painful reality many will resonate with, until I\'m left speechless yet so very, very sad. Thank you very much for sharing. I love it, albeit I\'m sorry you must taste such exquisite misery.

We sell ourselves short and in doing so lock the door to what could have been. Maybe it would work, maybe not who\'s to know if you don\'t give yourself a chance and try, then persist until it is certain. A wonderful write of the inner self and its doubts.
