Very lovely and evocative, beautifully rendered in your characteristic style, so charmingly with excellent imagery and a waltzing poignancy. Thank you very much for sharing.

Tony this is one of my most favorite of your poems. It is a soft spot. My father fought, uncles fought, a cousin fought, my grand father and great grand fathers fought. They all had stories and their lives were stories in and of themselves. A moving poem that is emphasized in the image of fireworks a great metaphor.

Ah the dilemma individualism and collectivism. A great poem pulling for individualism but then the question, have we been indoctrinated to believe that it is better? Makes one think. Loved it.

Very haunting, Tony. The after effects of abuse. A poignant and urgent message about the consequences of such evil in this world. Well done, my friend! π¦ββ¬πΉπ

Haunting is a good word for this poem. A poem of violence, betrayal, death and darkness that comes back to haunt. Very nice Tony
