• “His Bounteous Light”
EXCEPTIONAL!
“My relationship is one on one
whose heart is freely given”...
Those are words that were once related to me by a “man of the cloth” about his relationship with God! He also told me that one day I would hear those words again...and when I would, I should heed them because they would be coming from the sage one!

#1. Kurt your words make me feel a little melancholy. These days so many lose their way trying to find where they fit because of the changing social norms.

Kurt,
• “Borrowed Time”
The hourglass may be emptying...
Time may be diminishing...
But the anticipation to be with your Maker is elevating your appreciation for all that has meaning in your present state of being.
“The joy and pain of who” you’ve been will live on through your writings when you are gone! Your readers will appreciate, be inspired and learn from all your exceptionally penned life experiences!
• “Try To Be Smart “
Sagacious advice for your grandchildren!
• “Thank You Lord”
...and I thank you for accepting His guidance to live your life and sharing your life experiences with us...
your readers!
Superb poetry!

I get the image of a man looking out of his window after a day of celebration, wondering whether or not if such a thing was worth being happy about. It\'s sad, but resolute in that the author acknowledges the state of his life and how to keep moving forward. I like this quite a bit, but I enjoy almost all of what you write.

Kurt,
• “Maria”
After having finished reading, “Maria”, I’m left inconsolable!
“Our years are fated...”
This is a reality!
From a personal point of view, I can attest to this reality...from six weeks in the womb to one hundred two years of living...and everything in between!
An excellent and poignant write penned by an extraordinary author!

I\'ve always been fascinated with Nursery Rhymes, especially
before they became politically correct. There were great life\'s
lessons in tales like \'Humpty Dumpty\' and \'Little Miss Muffet.\'
\'Little Red Riding Hood\' has some solid messages that kids are
equipped to absorb and accept.
The \'Brothers Grimm\' tales were among my favorites. I\'m glad I
grew up when I did and not in this hyper-protective and restrictive
environment.

Kurt,
• “Tomorrow Ill Promised”
A bleak outlook on what is to be!
• “New Life”
There’s hope after all!
I like the juxtaposition of the first two.
Very interesting and intriguing writes. The repeating line, “Escaping into verse”, is quite effective!
• “Seraph’s Delight”
I’m happy your Muse is urging your pen to keep writing like it has never before! She’s on fire and refuses to be ignored!
I enjoyed all three. Super writes!

• “My Pen To Flow”
May your search continue on so the ink in your golden pen may flow ad infinitum to quench your readers’ thirst with your extraordinary poetry!
• “Sleeping Untold”
I can envision your Muse wrapping you “in consciousness” and sealing you in “with her warmth”!
• “Last Moth”
Timid you are not...
courageous you are!
That “zone beyond safety” you will venture in without a doubt!
Three excellent writes! Thank you for sharing!

Kurt,
• “Beyond My Fear”
She “took the lead to guide” your “wishes past” your “fear” so that you can continue your search to find yourself ‘inside the messages that the Great Chief has left behind.’ “ ‘He gave you the power to see his face in all men’ ”.
This write urged me to go to my bookshelf and revisit one of my favorite books!
• “The Shallow Glass”
Shatter that glass! Take notice and pay attention to this world that’s going by!
Two super poems! Thank you for sharing! Very much appreciated!

Kurt, this is an excellent trilogy in poetic form that leaves the reader to decipher the meaning, especially referencing the first two.
\"What your emptiness feared.\"
\"Forever wondering why.\"
I suspect it was a girlfriend or wife that deceived you.
Thanks for posting. :-)

Kurt,
Four super poems!
• “Drifting Away”
At times we must distance ourselves from what is right in front of us in order to see clearly!
• “Forever Wondering Why”
Yes, ‘let the how lead the way’.
• “To Confess And Reveal”
Liberating ourselves from that which weighs so much upon us is uplifting!
• “The Intellectual Elf”
Too self absorbed, snobbish, and conceited...I dare say!
An awesome read! Thank you for sharing your extraordinary talents!

My Searching Begins
Kurt Philip Behm said:
Thanks Laura, and you\'re right, Sammy & Bumpers went into hiding because Santa\'s
naughty Elf, Knothead, makes his appearance on Thanksgiving weekend every year.
Knothead hunts through the house late at night in search of Hershey Kisses and then
leaves the strewn wrappers all over the second floor. This year he lost one of his little black boots making his escape, and my youngest grandson, Braden, found it at the top of the back stairs.
The hunt continues.
