Got me thinking - I recall The Perry Como Show which was a \'must watch\' back in the day - and every word was heard.

Well put, Andy. But there were also screamers right through the sixties, seventies and eighties. That’s one of the reasons I retreated to warm pubs and a good pint.
But the big issue is, if the message cannot be understood then no one should sign up just because it has a catchy tune.

True Gold that many do not enunciate and some with poor diction leave only the tune. It seems that this is set by the crowd of listeners that no longer listen to lyrics only beat. There are a few that do still enunciate well and to those I\'ll listen. Good write Andy

Though the content of your poem is of an utmost disgustingness, this serves as a wonderfully written reminder, of the miscarriage of decent practice by big companies, we are supposed to trust.

How can we bathe in, or drink the water, that has been so mistreated eh!?

Bravo, and I hope that all is well.

I remember those days too and they were so much quieter, more neighborly, slower if a bit harder physically and there seemed to be greater peace close by. A lovely write Andy filling me with nostalgia.

This poem is lovely. It took me back to Thomas Hardy days. Reminded me of Far From the Madding Crowd. a favourite of mine. When the land was worked by horses, and everyone played their part in getting the harvest in. You gave me fine visuals and your choice of music is ace. Thank you Andy. Have a super Friday.

Is this a metaphor Gold of pollution overall and the lack of respect for nature and even ourselves that we have? Yes cyanide is just the tip of he iceberg. Nicely written

I heard it on the news last night. If sewage wasn’t bad enough, now it!s cyanide. Are they deliberately trying to kill us off I wonder? Mind blowing how our waters are being polluted. All that wild life poisoned. Makes me want to weep. Good morning Andy.
