Peace And Harmony.

Music touches the soul where nothing else can reach. A nice write that takes me back to places I have been in my mind and soul.

When it comes to music I’m no expert,
But I know what I like when I hear it.
However new instruction doesn’t hurt -
In the case of music I’m a half-wit.

Bad Drivers.
Bella Shepard said:

My friend you have no idea how much your rant is shared. People these days don\'t seem to be aware of what\'s going on around them, not good when you\'re behind the wheel. What\'s really annoying is when you pull up alongside and find they are staring at a cell phone. Safe travels!

Doggerel Dave said:

I’d give it up if I were you -
Public Transport is all the go;
Employee drivers are the crew
Who will get you there free of woe.

Yep, and they who go zooming over pedestrian crossings when we\'re about to cross, causing Fido to tell me to \'tune it down\', in my unsaid response of ******** or similar!
We still gotta watch out too for those electric powered wheelchairs, and that\'s on the paths! They\'ll come at ya at 100mph. Which way to dive out of their way - left or right?

Slithered Moon Haiku.

Never heard of a moon described as slithering before. Trying to picture a snake-like moon in the sky.

Love that rendition of that song. At first I was expecting Fly Me To The Moon because of the poem and its title. Shows you how one tracked my mind can be!

Slithered Moon Haiku.
Doggerel Dave said:

Do slither away, you very new moon;
Claim to be cutting the sky with your light?
Just wait ‘til you’re older and get it right.
This a golden rule I’ll institute soon.......

I cannot find a clear definition provided by Prof. Google, so I’ve made the assumption that this is a new moon. Please clarify – answer required (you have been missing in action several times recently, Andy – Lifestyle too lavish, or just getting old? 🙂🙂)

Time to write your biography, old son -

To live a life full and varied is quite a thing to achieve. Something that isn\'t being passed on to the next generations where we have made such great advances in curbing infant mortality rates.

Ah! The moon, a dry piece of rock,
A base for space exploration
Neglects the world’s population:
With poverty it’s just a crock.

Let\'s get real, Andy...

We were on the moon, you and I, before 1969, to welcome the first astronauts there.
Did you leave me there on the way back to Earth with the astronauts? Did you all leave quick cos of my singing? lol.

arqios said:

Walking to school was one of the best things. At one stage we lived across the road from the back gate of the school and at times would plead with the guard to let me in through there instead of walking around the block to the main gate.
