A good write, The Right Honourable Sir Goldfinch! There\'s a crude meaning to those who are given the OBE - some of them get it due to Other B*****s Efforts!

A titile is bestowed by another with a title not by the people. A lovely write on the distinction between the honorable and the honored. Well said Andy

A most beautiful sonnet my friend this one carries the perfect balance of softness, dark and light, control and its lack, winning in loss and a wonderful rhyme. It can not avoid being a fave

One of my most favourites pieces of yours dear Andy, it\'s got to be played tried even when it\'s exhausting even when it isn\'t going our way we have to move the pieces regardless. Superb poem. 🌹

I love your story Gold but even more I love your word play with it starting with that play on the saying swan song. Then there was row which very well could have been the line or a angry ruckus and bow which can be taken two ways as well. Very nice Andy and a fave

A poem of a fond memory made all the better with a good surprise of its cost. Funny how everything is compared in relation to what we are used to. Well written Andy

A wonderful attitude keeps it a wonderful life. Finding joy in what one does keeps one from finding fault in everything else. Congratulations Andy for your achievements.

Ripples Of Kindness.
Jeannie said:
I can relate to this poem. I have in the past done just that. My neighbor had lost his wife and on Christmas Eve, I invited him to come a have dinner with my family. He appreciated it, and we enjoyed getting to know. No one should spend the holidays alone. Another time I gave the school crossing guard flowers. She cried and hugged me and said it had been ages since someone did something kind for her. So yes, I believe in doing random acts of kindness because they do make a difference in their lives and mine.
