Light To Brightness.

Excellent choice Andy. Even before laying eyes on the first line, my initial thought was that of a dawning moment. As I child I used to dream and float off on this composition. It accompanies your poem well. The lengthening of the sun beams and its solidifying in intensity cuts through any greyness and mutedness. Thanks for this one, Sunday best for me!

The winter solstice and I watched the celebrations at Stonehenge. Our days will start to get fractionally lighter from now on. Always welcome and also with a hope that this turning point will bring in change for the better. An uplifting read Andy.

Yes - the Solstice and all the celebrations around it always made more sense to me in the Northern wintery hemisphere than it does in the South. (though I\'m not complaining...)
Rich write, Andy.

Hey Andy, this poem beautifully captures the essence of the solstice as a metaphor for hope and renewal. The imagery of transitioning from the longest night to the increasing light reflects the journey from darkness to brighter days, both literally and metaphorically. Quite uplifting and superbly enjoyable.

Alright! Now we\'ve both and each happily posted Bach\'s delightful coffee cantata, naturally in tribute to that irresistible brew, coffee. That aside, oh me! How exquisitely rendered and beautifully poignant with excellent imagery and spirit this charming e-card sonnet is!! Thank you very much for sharing, Sir!
