With a name like Beaujolais, he\'d have to play the vibraphone. Sounds like an extraordinary evening. Cheers!

Great to hear the vibraphone again - had to put head[hones on specially. I\'ve long been a fan of the MJQ who as u know regularly had famous guest artists too.

Red whine and a drive home, hope you observed those quirky speed limits along that route. ( I was at Evesham\'s hospital on Tues and took care to stay within the limits).

One of the best titles of a poem I\'ve ever seen, snatched me by the eyes it did. A wonderful read, too. Gotta say though, wine ain\'t for me lol

Oh dear poet, I just love this one. You have captured the essence of what it is to love the simple joys of life so beautifully, and to find joy in watching others joy. Thank you!

Always a pleasure to read your chosen subjects dear Andy and today your recall of valuing moments as seen in young faces shows lessons to adults who look and learn. Thank you for sharing that moment of years ago.

I do this all the time! And other forgetful things too. I tell myself it\'s because I\'m not focused and thinking about so many other things and NOT because I\'m growing old!

YESSS!! I literally love this. I feel this has happened to every single person on the Earth. That moment of just walking into a room and saying, \"wait what am I even doing here?\" Hehe thank you for this!

so true, I just stand still
when it happens to me
regularly
wait for a few minutes
give me old cobwebs a chance
to ruffle something up
then give up, and move on
to whatever I need to do next..
I probably look like
a malfunctioning robot
at least 2 or 3 times, every day..
(no wonder the Aliens aren\'t bothering with me
\'leave that one, it\'s obviously broken\')
lol

Yesterdsay for some inexplicable reason I asked Alexa to play Alan Price. I \'ve not heard any of his songs for maybe 40 years if not more and, like you, I found I knew - well almost - all the words. Aint the brain box a strange computer.

I laughed out loud at your last two lines. I\'m tempted to say \'but i can\'t remember why\'. Oh so many times I\'ve been there \'why have i come upstairs?\' only to recall ten minutes later when you\'re back in the kitchen.

No problem recalling every word of a beatles song though, just as you suggest.

It\'s good to laugh at ourselves even at our frustrations of ageing. It\'s one of the graces of surviving.
