Grief is... [Haiku]
Barry Hodges said:

I think you\'ll find that, in English a haiku is 5-7-5 syllables, not 5-4-5.
So your middle line could well be:
\"A box of vile stinking shit\".

wow , i completely love this ! you wrote this very well , completely enjoyed reading this . the girl sounds very greedy , selfish and inconsiderate, to take from this boy and keep taking and taking till he is left with nothing but emptiness and anger... amazing read :-)

panic is a terrible thing, anxiety is not nice .. you expressed this very well, a feeling like something is going to happen to you is quite scaryi like how your mind thought to distract

Do you have something you must do, and not looking forward to it? It maybe something subconscious, even if you\'re not thinking of it consciously.
A sudden fear, or anxiety, or feeling pf foreboding is horrible.
Breathing in and out can be a distraction enough from it, hopefully.

Language, pronunciaton and grammar are a thing we are taught. Taught to communicate?
Seems to me your wonderful grandma here has a way to communicate not only with words but more..... the essence of communication.... feelings.
I really enjoyed your writing.
