I suppose I notice the Protestant view, that we don\'t pray to Mary.
Meanwhile - they call me \'mother\' now!
Note to self: Do shut up Orchi. lol.

Yes, there\'s the thing of \'waste\' - time, money, goods, etc.
We can\'t go back in time, unless we have a Tardis, and our surname is Who - Dr Who! heehee. I got one I keep in the shed. lol.

Patently Trite
orchidee said:

Then again, there is \'titre\' (stet) meaning diluted or concentrated, so not that far from \'trite\'.
Dilute that orange/lemon squash, or it bows your head off - bleurgghhh!

Good write Gary - just as I was doing a poem on the theme of \'bread of life\'. I don\'t always post poems in the order I write them.
Is it more than symbolic for you, the bread and the wine?
Of Protestant tradition, I often include the word \'symbol\' in those sort of poems.

I suppose I differ - Protestants say \'present by grace\', not \'in person\' under the bread and wine.

I\'m a little confused. I thought Canzonetta Prime was a tin of Italian tomatoes! lol.

I see the humanity and desperation for hope in these most undesired and troubling circumstances in this world. I’m glad that there is also hope in the spirituality of this poem. An interesting and challenging form to write in, Canzenotta Prime. Thanks for sharing.

Some have near-death experiences when they hear me sing! Or they feel like death warmed up. Me singing gives them that feeling! I must improve. lol.

A difficult one to answer truthfully Gary, as you cope with your loss.
However, the evidence of your poem suggests that you are not so struck down with grief (and I’ve witnessed people in that condition) you are unable to write something poetic and measured. Thanks for that.

For me the whole thing is a matter of garbage disposal only.
