Ohh, deck-chairs - sort of? Those Adirondacks. You call them deck-chairs in the U.S.?

Seeking A Sign

Your terrestrial space fog reminds some of some churches maybe. We might want to say, rather loudly, \'Cooeee, anyone awake in here?\' or even \'Anyone alive in here?\' lol.
But not ALL places. Phew!

Mystical Melancholy
Doggerel Dave said:

Think I\'m with orchi here Gary, because If I read him right, my advice would be don\'t be so hard on yourself. Moderation please. What is passed is gone. By all means make reparation to those wronged if able, but forward focus with what you have left.
Polished piece, though.

A time for repentance, yes. Though we don\'t need to work at it, as if we\'re trying to clean something that has been made clean. As if scrubbing/washing with OCD.

We\'re not to take vengeance ourselves, but I\'m sure it will be \'sweet\' when they get hold of her in prison, or wherever.

Good write Gary, though I\'ve never been to a Confessional Box. Have seen some though.
The Protestants don\'t have them, though I don\'t emphasise denominations much.

A neat verse which says something to me, Gary - though you would know me well enough by now to guess I would hear it slightly differently:

I\'m no great fan of space travel - our focus should be here on earth and the power we have in our own hands if only it would be used correctly.

Caesar, Caesura

I ran out of commas. You used them all. But it\'s driven the spell-checker crazy. Notice the full stops here! lol.
It does convey a deeper meaning - Caesar and men\'s kingdoms stopping and starting, pausing as commas. Then no commas, no caesuras in Christ\'s kingdom in your final line!

Oohhh, so much noise sometimes. Me screeching (singing, that is) don\'t help towards peace and quiet! They says \'I should give it up if I were you, Orchi\'. I don\'t listen to them, do I? heehee.

I\'m bit rusty on Aristotle too - the quote! We would go insane, imagining a Being without beginning, but God just IS, as you say.

I stumbled over \'aseity\'. It could be similar to \'per se\', as in \'a-se....\' but me Latin extends to about three words.
A book, irritatingly at times, puts in Latin phrases at intervals. One meant \'of course\'. Why not just say \'of course\' in English?! yet it shows a certain classicism, I suppose.

You use \'y\'all\'? That will save you one syllable (you-all)?
Some places look at you as if you are mad, if you ask for VCR tapes these days, or even VCR\'s themselves. Mind you, it was a snobby, upper-class shop.
What am I wittering on about?!

I\'m not familiar with Vincentians, though a Franciscan called at tea-time one day - did he?! lol.
There\'s good in the monastic orders, I feel. Some say it\'s escapism from the \'world\'. Some may reply \'yes, but in a good way\'.

99% may say it was an apple. We\'re not told though. There was a talking serpent/snake though! Or did it hiss, to entice Adam and Eve? Sort of saying \'Psst\'?!
I may be becoming apocyrphal now!
