A baby’s first words

The wag of a puppy’s tail

The smile from your first love

A letter received in the mail

I just love this stanza, such beauty in this poetry, dear A.P 🌹

When did I first see KP? Oh, on TV, in the papers, in magazines, in an Old Trout show..... anywhere, probably, where she will get her own publicity! lol.

Your school building, very similar to my old grammar school. I have very fond memories of my time there. Such an endearing tale of young love AP. Your heart fluttered young. May those memories always leave a smile. Have a lovely day.

During COVID, when my husband and I were limited to car rides, we took one on a Sunday afternoon, back to the neighborhood where I grew up, oddly 50 years ago. As you have so eloquently said, everything had changed, but was also the same in my memories. I told him \"this is where, and that is gone, but I remember when\". Thank you for this stroll down memory lane, for that never changes. Such a great write!

Never go back because it can be so disappointing. We did, my brother and I visited our childhood home again shortly he died. We sat in the car on the opposite side of the road trying to salvage our memories. I’ll never go back again. It had changed beyond recognition. A poem of nostalgia. Thank you AP. Hope your day has been a good one so far.

Your words truly bring to life the essence of memories held within places! It\'s amazing how each spot has its own story, memories stay fresh even as the years roll by, bridging the past, present, and future. Your poem is simply fantastic!

What a lovely subject dear A.P I often go back to places I have been as a child especially when I\'m visiting London, what my memory and records are is in adulthood change because of course we ourselves have changed physically and mentally. There are also some places I would never wish to revisit in my mind nor in person. Such a wonderful subject hitting many buttons on my mind, living away from home has many perks and I do keep the memories I choose. I really appreciate how deep this one can be and what it would also mean to you to go back in time 56 years to that famous spot where love began. 🌹
