Disappointment is....

Thanks B for a very elegant but real \"List of Disappointments\" most of which we can emphasise with most years ! However I note (as you comment) they are all transient ! I\'m an EVERTON SUPPORTER so I know what you mean ! Love the optimism in your you final line ~ In my experience ~ Life does turn around and Lady Luck is just around the Corner ! Love the POEM ~ thanks for sharing ~ Please check my ODES ~ Yours BRIAN

FineB,
An awesome write !
I enjoyed this read very much.
It resonates all the vacation
experiences of my youth at
the Italian beach resort, LIDO, near Venice!
Thank you for sharing!

The tale of Jane Eyre
Laura🌻 said:

FineB,
A timeless classic indeed!
One of my favorites!

The first time I read it,
it was a required reading assignment! I did not appreciate it as much as I did the second time I read it...years later! Later in life I could relate to some of the events in Jane’s life...especially of being a teacher!

Your written account of her is fabulous! I truly enjoyed the read! Thank you for sharing your excellent write!

Tremendous work FineB and I\'m envious of your trip to the ballet. I\'ve not read the book for some time now and you\'ve prompted me to get it out and dust it down.

I probably take a trip to Bognor, or Clacton, or Skegness - some really \'exciting\' place! (not?). lol.

I agree FRIEND ~ It was the friendliest games I have ever witnessed ! I was on holiday fro the College where I teach Science so was able to watch during the day ! The SPIRIT among the competitors was so so loving and England did us proud across the whole range ~ I loved every minute of it ! Better than the OLYMPICS ~ No Drugs ~ USA / Russian Rivalry etc just pure sportmanship and sharing & caring ! BRUM 2022 should be equally as GREAT ! Thanks for caring & sharing. Please check my poems ~ Thanks B !

Not something on my radar I\'m afraid apart from a summary I saw at the tail end of the news I know nothing about it. Guess I have an artistic temperament rather than a sports one. Nonetheless I recognise a great write to honour the event

okay if you get on at the start and get a corner seat armed with a good book so you can pretend to read and still take a sly look at your fellow passengers. been there and done it - but not on this line.

Fine write - sadly stigma is at the root of so many problems in our world and none more so than mental heath. I do a bit towards it with painting sessions for those with needs but I often think I don\'t do enough.
