When you\'re in the grave
I\'ll still call you my friend
You were there to save
And i\'m with you till the end
So i guess maybe we\'ll suffer together
Brave the storms and fight the weather
Believe it or not you\'re the only friend I trust
And losing you too, is to much

Great tribute write. Great flow to this poem also. I read about this wrapper in the paper today but I\'m unfamiliar with his music.
Beautifully written - Syd

A beautiful piece that I\'m sure will help everyone find harmony.
What was his name? I\'d like to hear some of his work.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts

I actually enjoyed this a lot. I don\'t usually like poems where people complain about their jobs but you have flow!

Justice does exist, overcoming in obstacle is justice in its self. I appreciate the reflection of perceived defeat. This is painfully beautiful.

lockdown

I\'ve been waiting for a poem like this to fill the void, the unlawful attacks on our schools are out of control. I know a lockdown doesn\'t make everything alright. Thank you for the read, so sorry you have to go through this.

Wow! This is truly amazing! Not many people appreciate those small, hardly noticable things in life. You were able to capture those perfectly! A job well done!

drowning
onepauly said:
sometimes we are so much in pain, suicide is the only way out.
my sister-in-law took a small boat to the center of a pond and slipped over the side. she had pain in her abdomen. described it like a tooth ache. she drowned herself. if the pain was like she described, I might do the same thing. no one deserves physical pain. sometimes its unimagineable . and we the living, don\'t want to imagine it. while we bury our heads, the person is still in powerful pain. we don\'t want to think about it. great poem by the way.
