Not Alone

Sometimes I wonder what will become of all those folk who stare at their tiny screen all day. I think they are losing their social skills. It\'s nice that they have their imagined friends, but are they real? I hope your poem is the wake-up call they need to put down their phones and talk to someone.

Hanging by a Halo
Peter Pan - The Rock said:

Sad times indeed.

Very sad and bad.

Throughout Human History...

We all know... there were bad times.

Seems that for some... they are back, once again.

Do not give up! Endure!

I could say something like...

Everything happens for a reason...

But truth is... sometimes... there is
just no reason, or a right good reason.

I would like to give you hope,
say something like...

Everything will turn out just fine.

Plain truth is... I don\'t know.

There should always... be...

Love... above all.

And yes... understanding...

Or at least... tolerance.

Respect. Human-Rights.

Freedom... to a certain level.

Some say... that for some...

It was the jab, or jabs.

I don\'t know... but... since I took none... Maybe it was.

However if that\'s the case... some people still seem to retain feelings.

Some others... seem to have turned into predators of some sort.

Realizing simple facts...

For many... things were already bad before all that.

However things do seem to have changed... and not for the better...

Certainly not the greater-good.

Please do carry on, with all your forces.

Love and understarding, yes always.

However against those that are nocive... and inflict harm upon others and destroy people\'s lives...

Above all... Innocents...

Well... very hard to understand such a thing... and to love it...

Seems... very impossible.

Peace and Love.

It’s sad
I have always felt, life is indeed like a notebook
A diary to write and make amends
It’s a beautiful depiction
Though a heart had to be shattered to make a song
Heal sooner dear heart
Best of luck

Awakening
A.H. Browning said:

“The sky will seem as if it is the most beautiful shade of blue you have ever seen”
Those are the exact words to describe a very real memory that happened to me… the morning my father passed. Like you read my mind… your words here happened to me. In my grief and feeling lost, I remember driving that morning and suddenly noticing how the sky was exactly as you described. That was such an unusual feeling and I will never forget it.
I don’t know how I missed this one 🤔
Very nice writing. Cheers.

A Final Plea
MendedFences27 said:

This took me back to the passing of many a dear one. You have painted the picture in great detail. The sense of loss diminished by the lack of self respect, the self destruction, and the horror of it all. It almost seems that we should not shed a tear, but of course we do. Loved your poem. - Phil A.

It really is the saddest day when you see the end of someone who really should be walking this earth for many years to come. Some for some reason can\'t win their own war, and that just makes the passing harder to take.

wow!
let me first, thank you for choosing to share your brilliant artistry and talent,
I can\'t help but be impressed by that impactful sketched art you include in your post, is it your work? I immediately thought this would make such a profound sculpted piece of art..
and I just loved these lines:
\'But I
kept hope, I am foolish
in this I know.

I am, somewhat
of a kamikaze optimist
often throwing my heart like a grenade
at things that are sure, to kill me.

I rattle off reasons and explanations in my head, like
scripture.\'

Always look forward to reading you. I was very moved by the last line, \"Wondering if you will notice me without it.\"
