nothing like being reminded of one\'s own mortality in a well crafted poem .. gotta make sure we make every moment count ....

If time be on our hands at the fall of the day, as dusk arises from the land, pleasant thoughts of bygone pleasures can become a romantic muse. Enjoy those moments to their full i say when the perfect mood surrounds you. For if there were other needy tasks, why then, of course, it\'s those you\'d be doing instead.mood

Took me several reads too really enter into your piece today. That mention of dusk (my fav time of day in fair weather) straight away creates a romantic mood for me...... the land begins to darken and offer up concealment of all sorts of wonderful things.

A fine write Suresh.
Is the title \'Remaking\' or \'Remaining\' or both?!

A needed and well crafted reminder that time spent reviewing the past never lets us enter the peace of the present. Good read my friend and thank you for sharing it.

This makes clear the need to become aware that human intellect often falls short in the knowledge department. Another gem on which to ponder Suresh.

We agree SURESH - Verbosity is Pomposity and only seeks to confuse ! We both love the Japanese 17 syllable poems (5 7 5 triplets in English) HAIKU & SENRYU

Summer is the month
of bright sunny days - and long
warm and silky nights !

One can say so much in 17 syllables but it is a challenge to express onself succinctly & simply. Thanks for sharing ! Please check our latest FUSION (*BEYOND THE SUNSET*) and add a Poem if you have time - Thanks.

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours

Ah
The world often confuses the one who speaks the loudest or the most in conversation for the intellect but in the poetic community we know the opposite to be true!

I se this as the good and, dare I say it, the evil.
Some Biblical writers ask the same things: \'Why do the good seem to die young, but the evil seem to live on longer?\'
A general principle though, not applying to all, or we may say \'I\'m 100 next week; who you calling evil?!\'
