Those ~ I have met ~ who feel they have an Assurance of a Place in Paradise ~ were paradoxically not too anxious to get there ~ but rather to remain on Earth to the Age of 70+ ~ not to earn their Salvation ~ but to serve their GOD on Earth !

By the way, buddhists (there\'s quite a few of them about) don\'t have a deity to be fearful of.
There is so much more positive energy from a spiritual faith than anything based upon fear can offer.
