I love storms...the bigger the better and you captured the mixed feelings people have during storms wonderfully in your poem. I love natures child's things... what an inspired and magical line!

beautiful and intriguing poem! love the images the words paint. I found these lines especially haunting...

I find you here your skirts all washed in water
the colors of your skirts has misted, too
down to pale white my daughter
the pale white now of your shoe

what a conundrum you present to us. how do we know and how does the calendar know and how does time know...and in the end what does it all mean anyway?

A Tickle In my Brain
BrokenWordsPoet said:

This has happened to me so often; on top of that it seems as I get older I lose things way to easy and I continue to walk in circles. My keys just the other day, I put on a pair of sweat pants and slipped a pair of jeans over them due to it being so cold, got ready to go outside and I could not find my keys. I looked everywhere in the pockets of my jeans but not in the pocket of my sweat pants.

I got a chuckle out of this poem. BWP... James...

This is so true! we either don't look inside at ourselves or don't want to see what is there, but the world would be so much better if people really looked inside themselves at what they are and tried to change what is bad and then they would look at the entire world differently. well written and expressed.

The Beauty Of The Sprite
baj-a said:

oh wouldn't it be wonderful if there were tree sprites that could change a persons heart and help them appreciate the beauty instead of destroying it to build another house, or make another tablet or roll of paper towels... we need our forests and our forest sprites! lovely piece of poetry!
