It\'s enough to cause me to \'get my coat\' and \'get out more\' as they say, with fine poems about rivers on here!
Well, I do get out more, but mainly on milder days, and clement weather. I blame Clement for bad weather. Who is he?! lol.

GOOD EVENING FRIEND ~ ANGELA HERE ~ Because of the facility to comment - and reply to comments - MPS is both a very popular& proactive site and also very very addictive ! When we met - Brian was already a Member so we decided to share the site. Because we have been married for nearly a Year most of our poems (which are largely factual - we are both Scientists) are collaborations ! Because the MUSE is exponential this gives us ten times the inspiration ! We have no difficulty posting a Poem on this - that & the other ~ but choosing an appropriate VISUAL & a VIDEO can ofen take more time ! WE like to encourage NEW MEMBERS - especially when no one else bothers to comment ! It is a great site and we should respect all contributions and seek to be CONSTRUCTIVE in our comments and GRACIOUS in our replies - AMEN !

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours
Love Angela Brian & Smokey ! ! !

Nah RD: It’s all the same with you arty types; you need focus here, Lexical and Kleptomania (whoever they are) might be OK, but they’re not bringing in the readies are they? (I’ve got a mate who fixes things I’m sure he could have a chat to the MPS rep and get you a good deal – for a percentage).

At your first line, the title of a song came to my mind: \'Ah, sweet mystery of life, at last I\'ve found thee\'. Dunno why exactly. And I don\'t know much of it beyond the title.
But Mario Lanza sings one of the versions of it. Was one of my Mum\'s favourite singers.

L. B. Mek said:

\'Plucking sour grapes, unripened off the vine. Making bitter wine with fruity tones of revenge and torment. A tang of might fallen on the tongue. Fresh, like something new to despise. A compliment to hard cheese and cold boiled rice.\'
a set of lines weaved with such insightfully raw self-introspection, inked so tantalisingly vivid I could taste the words on my tongue and they are not even my favourite lines of this write, what a finale last four lines to finish on,
Brilliant!

Your use of caesura has tied this poem up very beautifully! It takes me back to old Shakespeares play ‘king Lear’ and his protagonist Poor Old Tom who was a beggar in madness and deprivation and erratic thoughts. Thanks for sharing!
