and \'we\'re all\' left thinking, the same

the best laid plans of mice and men
are there for us to excavate
in those Great Empires: of Sand...\'
In the words of that great sage and poetess
Sylvia Plath: from \'Ennui\'
\'Tea leaves thwart those who court catastrophe,
designing futures where nothing will occur:
cross the gypsy’s palm and yawning she
will still predict no perils left to conquer.
Jeopardy is jejune now: naïve knight
finds ogres out-of-date and dragons unheard
of, while blasé princesses indict
tilts at terror as downright absurd.\'
(so then let\'s boil some water
and sip our way, through the next batch
of inhumane horror
they\'ll be trying to introduce into our lives
one way or another)
