Chasing Clouds

well, thanks to your words
I\'m gonna tick-off
\'learn to fly\' from my bucket list;
who needs all those training hours and expensive lessons,
when we can just read your poetry
close our eyes and imagine, that majestic scenery and exhilarating experience, you paint: so vividly eloquent..
thank you, for choosing to share

I\'ve observed this via my armchair and TV screen - amazing. As for actually participating, I\'m totally with Neil above - in fact I should plagiarise 99% of it.
Enjoyed the write, its structure and the last line has my seal of approval......!

A Cat Called Rabbit
Doggerel Dave said:

Yes, this is a ‘well done’ piece of poetry. Brings out the reminiscent nostalgia in me too:
A friend acquired a cat (mentioned it elsewhere – so I won’t bore you). Called her Princess Something or Other.. Her brother who lives next door, a straight up and down kind of guy would have none of it, called her ‘Puss’, and Puss she remains. I’ve often wondered if, when called in one night, ‘Puss’ doesn’t bring half the cats in the neighborhood……

That\'s an easy fun way to make the argument digestible Langton.
Should be a rush on blue electric cars after that.....No, I mean it - like your style.

Being a mechanical high performance car guy, I\'m naturally drawn to old school muscle cars, but I have to admit the new electric cars are very very fast. Excellent write here Langton. ; )

It’s the same feeling I get when I look at any well crafted old construction – the when and the how. Enjoyed your short well constructed piece.
