Painful one, becca, yet cutting is very common and for some reason brings relief. You write it how it is.

I understand very well this state of mind. Not yours specifically because that\'s impossible, but I\'ve been in similar situations. What lies underneath the surface of a person is usually what\'s most interesting to see. It really depends on how other people take it when they discover it, if they ever do. Best regards.

You describe something which I have to admit is beyond my understanding. But I wish i could understand. Please write more and help me (and others) understand the motivation of self harming.
It\'s easy to sympathise but I\'d like to be able to empathise, to feel along with you.

If it was not such a serious theme - I jumped off, but landed on a trampoline. I shot 50 feet back into the air! heehee.

Very dark and emotional. You have certainly achieved the X factor here especially with your last line. X

Dear poet
Jump out of those emotions that hold you back
Jump from emotions that stops you from loving yourself
Waver your heart
Hug it around
Rise from ashes my dear friend
Your a shining streak in darkness around

Itโ€™s really tragic to read
Please have hope dear poet
Your the shine
Write and let the paper bleed but donโ€™t get hurt dear friend
Vent out all your griefs, your anguish and pain
Let go of your sufferings
I wish to gradually see hope in your lines
I know itโ€™s hard
Your trying
Best of luck dear poet

I was out riding my bike one time and had a head on collision with a bee, lol. It bounced off my lip, within seconds I noticed my lip beginning to swell up. In that split it second it took to bounce off my lip,it managed to sting me. I couldn\'t believe how fast they\'re able to sting.๐Ÿค—โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ

This is a tough one.
We all have those little voices, that for some reason never ask you to do good things. This is when you need an over-riding mechanism to countereact the voices.

Also painting, drawing and writing. Obviously it is important to still get professional help too - but these are all good outlets. When I went to treatment when I was 12/13, it was common to have meditating, yoga and art therapy as well as traditional therapy and medication.

Rachel Laurene said:

When I was a teenager and a preteen I was suicidal. I haven\'t been for a very long time, but sometimes the thoughts will come back in my early twenties and I would have to breathe my way through them. It is very important to get help if you are having these feelings love. One thing which helped me the most was God, meditation, yoga and remembering how this act would effect those I leave behind more than me. It\'s sort of morbidly and twisted self guilting in a sense, but it got me through. Stay strong and remember that there is so much more in life to look forward to, even if it does not feel that way now โค

I found this to be very difficult to read, the depth of sadness is astounding, and it\'s power even more so. I\'m sorry your in such a degree of pain, and sorrow. I also suffer from depression, but I have this belief that suicide is the ultimate sin,the one sin God does not under any circumstances forgive,no matter what. The one sin that\'s guaranteed to to land my ass in hell, because that\'s how precious life is,mine yours, everything that lives. Just think of all our neighbouring planets with no life, and then there\'s earth, with its abundance of life,..each and every one precious in own unique way. Please stay strong, and know you are very special. Thank you for sharing Becca๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ’

This is perhaps a \'where fools rush in....\' type contribution:
I know nothing about your group home or the kind of care provided where you are, but on the evidence of just your poem, I\'d suggest you need more intervention than mere residence in a group home. Perhaps you are receiving this...

Take care of yourself.
