A powerfully evocative image. Reminded me of Nana in her last days, I refused to directly look at her so as not to mar the memory I chose to keep of her. So I approached her as always but relied on my peripheral vision, she was mostly blind by then, cataract cloud in one eye and a failed corneal transplant in the other. Strange how this particular reading brought me there. It may take me elsewhere on another day.
