Letters and words as well as numbers are those scars. The last line sums it up so well and is a perfect finish

I wondered if I could set a tune to this. The verses are almost in 8.8.8.8. (often used in some hymn tunes), plus the chorus in 8.7.8.6. Can\'t think of a tune just now though.
